CEBU CITY, Philippines — After Cebu City’s courts suffered displacement twice in more than a decade due to earthquake damage, Central Visayas’ top development body has renewed calls for the Supreme Court to finally begin construction of the long-delayed Hall of Justice at the South Road Properties (SRP). The Regional Development Council in Central Visayas (RDC-7) approved a resolution during its full council meeting on June 24, urging the Supreme Court to fast-track the construction of a permanent, disaster-resilient Hall of Justice on a 1.5-hectare property that the Cebu City government donated years ago.
