P18.36-M ‘shabu’ seized in Camarines Norte buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY — Police arrested a suspected drug personality and seized P18.36 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Daet town in Camarines Norte on Thursday.

In a belated report on Friday, Camarines Norte Police said that the 33-year-old suspect, identified as “Joy,” sold a knot-tied sachet of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Lag-on at 11:19 p.m.

Authorities recovered a total of 2,700 grams of shabu from the suspect, tagged as a high-value drug personality.
