
For one of the first times since Nuremberg, a court is considering whether executives should go to prison for doing business with a brutal government. Lundin Oil’s former chairman Ian Lundin, and Alexandre Schneiter, who was its head of exploration before serving as chief executive officer, are accused of indirectly encouraging atrocities within their concession by the Sudanese military and paramilitary groups.
