The White Ribbon March will be staged by several religious and civil society groups at the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) People Power Monument to call for government accountability and reforms.
Bishop Efraim Tendero previously said the march will urge the government to hold erring officials accountable, to pass a genuine anti-dynasty bill and to reform the electoral process.
The NCRPO previously said it was deploying 9,553 police personnel for security measures for the protest-action.
In the statement, the NCRPO noted that the deployment would be focused on the Edsa People Power Monument, the Edsa Shrine, the Mendiola Peace Arch, the Ayala Bridge, the United States Embassy, major thoroughfares, transport routes and other convergence areas in Metro Manila. /mr
