
Disney showed fresh footage for Hexed at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on Friday and premiered a surprise theatrical short starring Disney character star Stitch.
Entitled Lilo & Scratch, the short takes up after the original 2002 animation Lilo & Stitch, and co-stars Stitch alongside a new cat character intent on eating the former’s fish pet Pudge.
Chris Sanders, who voiced Stitch in the original 2002 animation, reprises his role, in the short which will play theatrically alongside Hexed which slated for a November 25 release.
Friday’s session also showcased fresh footage for Hexed, the tale of awkward teenage girl Billie and her strict single mom who discover that she has unknown magical powers that will turn their lives upside down.
The session revealed first footage for a number of the early scenes in the film as Billie becomes aware of her magical powers and is then sucked into a wooded portal into the land of Hexe.
