Vale do Lobo launches its first traditional Portuguese ‘Arraial’

Vale do Lobo will bring a taste of Portugal’s popular summer festivities to the resort on Saturday, July 11, with the first edition of the Vale do Lobo Arraial, combining traditional food, live music and family entertainment.

Set against the welcoming surroundings of the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy, this family-friendly event has been designed to bring together the very best of Portuguese culture, gastronomy and entertainment in an authentic and memorable evening for all generations.

Guests can look forward to a traditional Portuguese dinner featuring grilled sardines, grilled meats, salads and a varied buffet selection, complemented by two included beverages per person.

Throughout the evening, live Portuguese music and festive entertainment will create a lively atmosphere, while the traditional Almancil Popular Marches parade promises to be one of the celebration’s most memorable moments.

A variety of authentic Portuguese treats, including spit-roasted pork, churros, mini churros, popcorn, candy floss and ice cream, will further enhance the festive experience, alongside an artisan market showcasing local crafts and traditions.

Families will also find plenty to enjoy, with inflatables and dedicated children’s entertainment ensuring an engaging and enjoyable evening for younger guests.

The Vale do Lobo Arraial runs from 7.30pm to 11.30pm at the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy. Tickets are priced at €65 per adult, with complimentary entry for children up to 10 years old upon advance registration. A group offer of six tickets for €300 is also available.
