
LTFRB probes taxi drivers who overcharged, stole from Thai models
MANILA – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Friday vowed to run after two taxi drivers who allegedly overcharged and stole from two Thai models and pageant winners during their visit to the Philippines. In a statement, LTFRB Chair Vigor Mendoza II said an investigation is ongoing to identify both the drivers and the operators of the taxis involved and hold them liable for embarrassing the country.
