A business breakfast organised by the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce will be held on Wednesday, February 27 at 8

Dr. Cláudia Váz Póvoa, Neville de Rougemont & Associados Head of Employment Department and Partner, will be talking about ‘New Employment and Social Security Rules – Hiring and Firing Moments of the Employment’.

The Business Breakfast will be a 20 minute presentation followed by a ‘question and answer’ session.

There have been several recent changes to employment and social security laws, which have had an effect on both the hiring and firing moments of the employment contract.

In this session, the incentives to hire and the new rules to dismiss and calculate compensation amounts will be clarified and discussed.

Cost is €10 for members and €15 for non-members (the cost is for the buffet-style breakfast only and will be paid on the day directly to the Club)
