Millie Bobby Brown Shares Insight Into Relationship with “Dear Friend” Tom Cruise
Millie Bobby Brown won’t have you waffling with this look.
While the Enola Holmes 3 actress donned a Cinderella-inspired light blue Galia Lahav gown for the Netflix film’s New York City premiere, she opted for a slightly bolder look during the after-party.
Brown looked stunning and stylish in a sheer brown two piece set from Mirror Palais, with a long sleeve top and flared midi length skirt that featured floral lace appliqués. The 22-year-old completed her outfit with Studio Amelia's Wishbone 90 Heel in beige and a floral head scarf.
Since taking on the role of Enola Holmes—the younger sister of famed detective Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill)—in the trilogy’s first film in 2020, Brown has been extremely grateful that she’s had the chance to grow up alongside her character.
“I feel like now I'm just bringing different elements of maturity and wisdom to her,” she shared during a June 25 appearance on Today. “But still, she's deeply flawed, which is what I want girls to be able to see. And she can be everyone's hero.”
But the Stranger Things alum isn’t the only Enola Holmes fan in the family as she recently showed her and husband Jake Bongiovi’s daughter the first film—although their baby girl wasn’t invested right away.
“She wasn't interested at all, and then I said, 'Tis I,' [and] she looked up because I sounded like mom,” Brown told Josh Horowitz at the June 24 live recording of his Happy Sad Confused podcast at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, according to People. “She liked it. She watched like five minutes and then got completely disinterested, but it was very nice to be able to show her that all of my childhood is on Netflix."

And while the Florence by Mills’ founder’s own childhood was lived in the public eye, she and Bongiovi—who married in 2024—are hoping to keep their daughter out of the spotlight.
“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” Brown told British Vogue in November. “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly.”
But, if her daughter chose “to share her personality one day with the world,” much like her mother did, she and Bongiovi would certainly support that decision.
“Right now, as she’s so little,” Brown said. “As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that."
