A fire outbreak on Friday engulfed a building on Biola Street in the Alapere area of Ketu, Lagos, causing panic among residents.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be immediately ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
According to an eyewitness account, oficials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly to the emergency and were seen battling the blaze to prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
