Gilberto Sousa, president of Associação dos Comerciantes da Região do Algarve (CRAL), Elidérico Viegas, from Associação dos Hotéis e Empreendimentos Turísticos do Algarve (AHETA), Carlos Luis, from Confederação dos Empresários do Algarve (CEAL), Vitor Neto, from Associação Empresarial da Região do Algarve (NERA) and Carlos Fernandes, from Associação dos Industriais da Hotelaria e Similares do Algarve (AIHSA) were all present at the meeting.

They all agreed they should work together more often for the sake of the Algarve’s economic sustainability and a new meeting to discuss the oil crisis and the economic slowdown of the issuing tourist markets is to be scheduled soon.
