SH6 closed after serious crash at Kawarau Bridge
Two people have been seriously hurt in a three-vehicle crash on the Kawarau Bridge, near Queenstown.
The crash happened on State Highway 6/Gibbston Highway at about 11.45am on Saturday.
The road has been closed.
Three other people received minor injuries.
"Motorists are advised to delay travel or take an alternate route," police said in a statement.
