71-Year-Old Man Dies Following Grinder Incident In Attard

A 71-year-old man from Mosta has died after suffering injuries while using a grinder in a field in Attard.

Police were called to Triq San Ġakbu at around 8pm yesterday after receiving reports that assistance was needed.

Preliminary investigations found that the man sustained injuries while operating a grinder.

A medical team was dispatched to the scene, but despite their efforts, the victim was certified dead at the scene.

Magistrate Monica Borg Galea has opened a magisterial inquiry while police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
