CEBU CITY, Philippines — A barangay councilor in Asturias town, Cebu, was nabbed during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Bago around 4:50 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026. The suspect is a 41-year-old man, married, a resident of the said place, and an active barangay councilor, who also chairs the barangay’s Peace and Order Committee.
