MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — Their synchronized dance performance, highlighted by colorful props and dazzling light displays, earned Barangay Caw-oy of Olango Island the championship title in this year’s Butong Festival. Barangay Caw-oy also dominated the competition by winning Best in Ritual Showdown, Best in Street Dancing, Best in Choreography, Best in Costume, Best in Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP), and Best in Andas during the Butong Festival held in Barangay Sabang on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
