Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with RB Leipzig over a move for Liverpool target Yan Diomande.
Sky Sports News understands the 19-year-old winger has indicated a preference to join the European and French champions.
Liverpool had been willing to pay £86m, but Leipzig want significantly more for the Ivory Coast international.
The Premier League side have been reluctant to go any higher than that, which appears to give PSG a clear run at the winger.

The French club have a contract agreed with Diomande until 2031, but club-to-club negotiations between PSG and Leipzig are ongoing.
Irrespective of the player's preference, a deal must be struck with Leipzig for the transfer to proceed.
Manchester City have also been monitoring the situation.

Liverpool had turned their attention to Diomande after landing Osasuna winger Victor Munoz for £34.5m.
In a surprise move, the Reds swooped in after Newcastle had a deal agreed for the Spain international, who predominantly plays on the left but can also be used on the right and through the middle.
Under new boss Andoni Iraola, Liverpool want multiple attacking signings to replace the departing Mo Salah.
But it now appears they will be forced to look elsewhere rather than at Diomande.
