US national arrested in Naga City for overstaying

MANILA, Philippines — A United States national was apprehended in Naga City for allegedly remaining in the country beyond the validity of his authorized stay, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said. According to the BI, the US national—identified as Chayim Elchanan Werner, 34—was arrested in Barangay Concepcion Pequeña, Naga City on June 17 after immigration agents received information about his whereabouts.
