Ceiling collapses at Candaba trade center in Pampanga

CANDABA, Pampanga — Part of the ceiling of the Candaba Municipal Trade Center collapsed at around 8 a.m. on Monday after the lighting system inside the covered court gave way, police said.

No one was killed or injured, Pampanga police director Col. Ricardo David told the Inquirer.

He said the incident occurred after the lighting system inside the covered court gave way, causing portions of the ceiling to cave in and scatter on the floor./coa
