Detectives from the arson and explosives squad are investigating the death of a man in a fire in Victoria's north this morning.
Victoria Police said emergency services were called to a fire which had broken out along the Goulburn Valley Highway at Tallygaroopna, north of Shepparton, just before 10:30am.
A passing motorist spotted a blaze burning on a property and reported it to authorities.
Police said emergency services arrived to find the fire had engulfed a bus, which appeared to be used as a permanent home.
Four Country Fire Authority (CFA) crews from Mooroopna, Shepparton and Tallygaroopna attended the scene.
The body of a man was discovered inside the bus.
Police said the man had not yet been identified.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Police are urging anyone who may have video or information on the incident to contact CrimeStoppers.
