
Korea-donated vessel MV Nilad set to boost Manila Bay cleanup -- DENR
MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will inaugurate the Korea-donated cleanup vessel MV Nilad on Tuesday, to remove marine litter and respond to pollution incidents in Manila Bay. In a statement on Monday, Environment Secretary Cuna said the MV Nilad, donated by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is a major step in expanding marine cleanup efforts. “The MV Nilad strengthens even more our ability to address marine litter in Manila Bay, and more importantly, reflects how strong partnerships and shared responsibility can deliver real results for our environment […]...
