Ombudsman: Plunder raps to be filed vs Marcoleta in Sandiganbayan

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Rodante Marcoleta will be charged with a non-bailable case of plunder in the Sandiganbayan this week, Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla said on Monday.

“Senator Marcoleta, it’s for resolution, we’re about to file it already,” Remulla said.

State prosecutors said the plunder complaint against Marcoleta was in connection to campaign donations worth P75 million. /das
