
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Cebu City may continue using the South Road Properties (SRP) as a backup waste transfer station, using a proposed ramp system that would allow garbage to be transferred directly between trucks without touching the ground. The proposed measure comes despite a cease-and-desist order the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Central Visayas (DENR-7) issued against the site’s previous waste operations.
