
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Cebu City formally welcomed its new police chief on Monday, June 29, as Police Colonel Ricky C. Sumalde assumed as officer-in-charge of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), succeeding Police Colonel George V. Ylanan. Sumalde took over the city’s top police post following Ylanan’s reassignment as chief of the Regional Comptrollership Division of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7).
