See Travis Kelce React to Taylor Swift's Lyrics About Having Kids
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce don’t want anyone rudely barging in on their white veil occasion—but that doesn’t mean they’re planning an intimate gathering.
As the couple’s rumored wedding at Madison Square Garden gets closer, a source with knowledge of the event told NBC News that 1,100 people are expected to attend the July 3 ceremony.
In addition to confirming the ceremony will, in fact, take place in New York, the source, who said they are among those invited, told the outlet that guests were required to sign non-disclosure agreements before they received their invitations electronically.
The apparent wedding details come just days after New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani abruptly avoided a question concerning the ceremony.
“Are you hearing that?” he joked to ABC News in a June 27 interview circulating social media, “I think they’re calling me out.”
However, earlier this month Mamdani seemed to suggest Swift and Kelce would be tying the knot in New York while detailing the major events occurring in the city in tandem with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“We know it coincides with the Knicks’ Finals run,” the 34-year-old said in a June 15 press conference. “We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding—all happening at the same time—and we are so excited to welcome the world here.”
Meanwhile, other stars in Swift and Kelce’s inner circle have pushed back on knowing specific details. Although San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and wife Claire Kittle confirmed their attendance, they emphasized they knew nothing about where the ceremony would actually be held.
“I actually asked Travis last night and he laughed at me,” Kittle told Entertainment Tonight of the MSG rumors June 23. “I’m half expecting there to just be a jumbo jet on a runway and they put us on a plane somewhere. I don’t have expectations. I know it’s going to be amazing.”

But earlier this year, Graham Norton—who Swift invited during her appearance on his eponymous late night show in October—cleared up an offhanded comment he made during his podcast about signing an NDA for the wedding.
“I said that as a joke on the podcast, I said, ‘Oh I’ve signed all these NDAs,’” he said during a public speaking engagement in March. “And then it started getting reported as a serious thing in America. I didn’t say cut that out because I thought it was so obviously a joke.”
And when asked point blank if he had signed a legal document barring him to secrecy, Norton insisted, “No.”
Though the bride and groom have kept many of the details to themselves, the reports seem to align with what Swift has said publicly about her big day. During her October appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she revealed she planned to have a blowout bash.
“I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount of people and people are on the bubble—and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there,” she explained. “I’m not going to do that.”
The Grammy winner shared, “I’m inviting anyone I’ve ever talked to.”
And she was not feeling any stress at the time, adding, “I’m so excited about it.”
