Chrissy Teigen Claps Back at Criticism After Freeing the Nip on Instagram
Chrissy Teigen is getting her feelings off her chest.
After the Cravings cookbook author sparked conversation photos of herself(no comma) in which her nipple could be seen through her sheer button-up shirt, she defended her decision to bare it all in an unapologetic response.
"I think because they have been cut into disks and reattached to my body like three times and also they've fed babies and stuff," Teigen commented under her June 28 Instagram post in response to a user criticizing the decision, "I really don't think of nips (mine especially) as sexy or risqué but my apologies if you do."
"I hope u will survive it," she teased, "almost sure u will. Love u so much."
Just like her top, the 40-year-old—who shares kids Luna, 10, Miles, 8, Esti, 3, and Wren, 3, with husband John Legend—has always been pretty transparent when it comes to her breasts.
"I've had my boobs done three times," she shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in January 2024. "I've had a lift, a put in, a take them out."
Indeed, she first got her implants at 20 years old, ahead of her famous Sports Illustrated photoshoot in 2010.
"It was more for a swimsuit thing," Teigen recalled to British Glamour in March 2020. "I thought, if I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky!"
However, motherhood proved to be a challenge with her implants, adding, "Then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed."

The mom of four—who previously shared that she has also undergone a hairline-lowering procedure, buccal fat removal and armpit liposuction—felt it was important to discuss what procedures she's had done.
"You can't set these expectations for people that everything is perfect," she reflected. "Everyone filters their s--t, edits or Facetunes so you forget what normal faces or bodies look like. It's not fair and it makes you jealous of other people's bodies."
"It's lying to people by omission," Teigen emphasized. "But also, while you want to teach your kids to be comfortable in their own skin, you want to tell them everything you can and let them decide."
Teigen isn't the only celeb to open up about plastic surgery. Keep reading for more stars who've detailed their own cosmetic procedure journeys.
