But, as reported by Sky Sports News earlier on Monday, it is understood that Kane and his family are very happy with life in Munich.

Both Bayern and Kane are relaxed about his contract situation even though he only has one year left on his current deal.
And with his sole focus right now being on England at the World Cup, any developments regarding his future will not come until after the tournament.
Kane registered his 70th goal this season for club and country by doubling England's lead against Panama in their final Group L match.

Kane contributed 61 club goals and seven assists in just 51 games in the 2025/26 season. The last player to score this many in all competitions was Cristiano Ronaldo for Real Madrid back in the 2014/15 season.
Kane has won three trophies this season, including the German Super Cup, Bundesliga and DFB Pokal, as well as winning the European Golden Shoe by being the top goal scorer across Europe's top five leagues.
This is his second European Golden Shoe - only a handful of players have two, and just Messi (6) and Ronaldo (4) have more.
Neville: Any club in the world would want 'golden' Kane
Sky Sports' Gary Neville:
I can see why Barcelona would want him. I can see why any club in the world would want him that is trying to win trophies at an elite level.

Harry Kane is as reliable as you can get. In football and in life, you want reliability. You want players who you know are going to deliver for you. He does that.
I describe him as gold. He's incredible and you know exactly what you are going to get. England also know exactly what they are going to get and I'm sure he will be fit and firing for the [World Cup] knockout phase.
This is where the tournament starts for real. All the best teams are through. It matters now and every chance you miss or every mistake you make you know it is potentially going to cost you or send you through.
Tuchel has said England will step up, and we know Kane will step up.
The 'Messi-like' stats which explain Barcelona interest in Kane
Sky Sports News' Rob Dorsett:
"Any club that wants to win trophies would want Harry Kane as their striker.
"He turns 33 next month and is still hot property. He is England's all-time leading goalscorer and he keeps extending that.
"In this World Cup, he has scored three goals in three games, eclipsing Gary Lineker as England's best goalscorer in World Cup competitions.

"He has scored 146 goals in 147 games for Bayern Munich. Those are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo-esque stats; they prove he is an elite striker.
"I am not surprised Barcelona are interested in him. Can they prise him away from Bayern?
"With only one year left on his contract, Kane's value in the market is not stupidly high. They would have to replace him and he is irreplaceable.

"Also, would he want to go? He is very happy there and his young family is based out there and well settled. It is not a given that if a club came in, he would automatically move.
"But it is Barcelona, if they put money on the table, might he be tempted to have a talk to them at the very least?"
