
MANILA, Philippines — The entire Philippine National Police (PNP) is now on full alert amid the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) rallies on Tuesday, June 30.
The alert level status took effect at 8 a.m. and applied to all national support units and regional offices of the PNP, according to a memorandum from the Directorate for Operations.
“This is to prevent any untoward incidents in all our areas within the country,” PNP public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co said in a press briefing at Camp Crame.

The PNP memorandum did not say when or if the alert level status would be lifted.
