
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 12,030 participants were seen at the rally mounted by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) at the People Power Monument in Quezon City as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) latest data.
Another rally likewise mounted by the INC across the People Power Monument, at the southbound lane of the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) corner Connecticut Street, amassed 600 participants, the PNP data added.

The national police force also monitored a small contingent of 30 people at the nearby Edsa Shrine along Ortigas Avenue.

Meanwhile, according to the PNP, the INC’s rally at the Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila ended.
The INC mounted the rallies on Tuesday morning supposedly in support of Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, who faces an impending plunder case in connection with an alleged P75-million campaign donation during his 2025 senatorial bid.
The protest-actions prompted the PNP to raise a full alert status over all its units. /mr
