
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — A 14-year-old Grade 10 student died after she was allegedly stabbed by a relative inside their home in Barangay Subic, Baliwag City, Bulacan, early Monday morning.
Baliwag City police chief Col. Eisbon Llamasares said the incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m.
Police said they received a call from a hospital informing them that a 14-year-old girl had been brought in for treatment after sustaining a stab wound to the neck.

The victim was rushed to the hospital by the 37-year-old suspect, who is also her relative, along with the victim’s mother.
However, the girl was declared dead on arrival.
According to Llamasares, the suspect, a teacher, was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.
Initial investigation showed that the stabbing stemmed from a personal dispute and was not related to any school matter. Police added that the suspect and the victim lived in the same house.
The suspect is now in police custody and faces a murder complaint./coa
