
MANILA, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is eyeing additional facilities to help ease the cargo bottleneck at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) as the release of newly arrived shipments has started to improve. In a message to the Inquirer, Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said the Bureau of Customs would still need additional staging and stripping areas despite its recent progress in decongesting the People’s Air Cargo & Warehousing Co.
