A new collective agreement has been signed for Junior College lecturers and staff, bringing improved working conditions for around 160 employees, Education and Sport Minister Byron Camilleri has announced.
Speaking in a video shared from the Old University Building, Camilleri described the agreement as an important milestone for the college and thanked everyone involved in the negotiations.
The new agreement is expected to benefit lecturers and other employees at Junior College, while also having a positive impact on the hundreds of students who attend the institution by supporting an improved learning environment.
The minister said the successful conclusion of negotiations reflects the government’s commitment to investing in both educators and the quality of education.
