Tickets go on sale for Sporting’s Algarve friendlies

Tickets have gone on sale for Sporting CP’s three pre-season matches at the Estádio Algarve this July, giving fans the chance to watch the Portuguese champions take on Celtic, Strasbourg and Nottingham Forest.

The first friendly, against Scottish champions Celtic on July 14, is priced between €11.11 and €33.32. If demand is high and the remaining sections sell out, tickets for the upper west stand will also be released at €15.

For Sporting’s matches against French side Strasbourg on July 20 and English Premier League club Nottingham Forest on July 31, ticket prices range from €11.11 to €38.87. Should additional seating be required, tickets for the upper west stand will be made available at €20.

Tickets for all three matches are available through the MEO Blue Ticket platform.

The Algarve has once again become one of Portugal’s main pre-season football destinations, with Sporting holding part of its preparations for the 2026/27 campaign in the region. Vitória de Guimarães will also stage its summer training camp in the Algarve later this month, while several international clubs are expected to use the region’s facilities before the new season begins.
