NBI-7 uncovers two alleged ghost flood control projects in Balamban

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation–Central Visayas Regional Office (NBI-7) has uncovered two alleged ghost flood control projects in Barangay Singsing, Balamban, Cebu. NBI-7 Supervising Agent Gregorio Y. Algoso Jr. announced the discovery during a press conference on June 30, 2026. Algoso said the investigation began in December 2025 after authorities received reports of irregularities involving two flood control projects in the municipality.
