Jakarta (ANTARA) - State-owned energy company PT Pertamina will cut prices for several non-subsidized fuels, including Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex, effective July 1, while keeping subsidized fuel prices unchanged.
Based on Pertamina's official pricing for the Greater Jakarta area that ANTARA quoted on Wednesday, Dexlite (CN 51) will fall to Rp19,700 (about US$1.10) per liter from Rp23,000 (about US$1.29).
Pertamina Dex (CN 53) will decline to Rp21,150 (about US$1.18) per liter from Rp24,800 (about US$1.39).
Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) will drop to Rp19,300 (about US$1.08) per liter from Rp20,750 (about US$1.16).
Prices of other non-subsidized gasoline products remain unchanged, with Pertamax (RON 92) at Rp16,250 (about US$0.91) per liter and Pertamax Green (RON 95) at Rp17,000 (about US$0.95).
The reductions follow a price increase on June 10 after the government largely shielded domestic fuel prices from global market volatility linked to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
Prices of subsidized and government-assigned fuels remain unchanged.
Pertalite stays at Rp10,000 (about US$0.56) per liter, while subsidized Biosolar remains Rp6,800 (about US$0.38) per liter.
Pertamina said the adjustments comply with the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry's pricing formula for commercial gasoline and diesel fuels.
