
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Unidentified gunmen killed a 36-year-old man and wounded two others after the assailants raked the victims’ house with gunfire in Argao town in southern Cebu on Tuesday evening, June 30.
Authorities identified the dead victim as alias “Rocky” while those wounded were identified as alias “Edsel” and alias “Anselmo.”

Another companion of the victims known as alias “Anderson” escaped unscathed.
Rocky was allegedly having himself tattooed inside the house when the house was shot at. He was hit by bullets in different parts of his body and died on the spot.
Those wounded were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Initial investigation showed that at past 9 p.m. on Tuesday, in a house in Purok Tambis, Barangay Capioan, Argao town, a black car and a motorcycle suddenly stopped in front of the house and fired several shots at it.
The shooters then fled.
The Argao Municipal Police Station is still conducting a follow-up investigation regarding the shooting attack.
