Rescue helicopter, paramedics on way to emergency incident in rural Auckland's Glenbrook

A person has been seriously injured during a workplace incident in rural South Auckland's Glenbrook.

Police said emergency services were called to an address on Glenbrook Rd at 2pm on Wednesday.

A person was taken to Middlemore hospital in a serious condition.

Earlier a St John spokesperson said a rescue helicopter along with an ambulance and two rapid response vehicles were sent to the scene.

Police notified WorkSafe about the incident.
