3 suspects yield gun, shabu worth P204,000 in Rizal buy-bust

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested three drug suspects in a buy-bust operation early Wednesday in Rodriguez, Rizal.

The law enforcers also seized over P204,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and an illegal firearm.

The Police Regional Office 4A reported that the operatives collared the suspects identified as “Bajek,” “Nicko,” and “Macmac” after they allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer in Barangay Balite around 12:40 a.m.

The suspects yielded eight heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected meth weighing a total of 30 grams with an estimated value of P204,000 and an undocumented caliber .38 revolver loaded with three bullets.

The suspects are under police custody and will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and other corresponding criminal charges./coa
