See Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Red Carpet at MSG Ahead of Possible Wedding
Welcome to New York. It’s been waitin’ for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.
It's rumored that Madison Square Garden is the place where the Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will commit to each other forever & always. And while Swift and Kelce haven’t officially confirmed that detail of their love story, there are several signs that it could be the 1.
For starters, despite being in the middle of Manhattan, MSG would offer the pair privacy, which is presumably high on their wi$h li$t. Not only are there no windows in the arena, but its tunnels also allow for discreet entrances and exits. And if their guest count is bigger than the whole sky—rumored to be around 1,000 people—the setting could easily hold everyone.
Other possible clues fans can’t shake off include the permit that was filed to close the surrounding streets on their rumored wedding weekend, the recent red carpet rollout and the comments New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani made while discussing the 2026 World Cup.
"We are the biggest city in the country, we are used to big events and we are incredibly excited for this one," he told reporters June 15 ahead of the tournament. "We know it coincides with the Knicks' Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4th, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding all happening at the same time, and we are so excited to welcome the world here."
Swift’s love of New York is one fans know all too well—the singer frequently spotted out with friends, on date nights and even sitting in MSG’s Celebrity Row for Game 4 of the NBA Finals June 10.

And while there’s a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about what exactly the wedding will entail, one thing is for sure: If Swift and Kelce do tie the knot at MSG, they wouldn’t be the first couple to choose Madison Square over that rose garden.
Back in 1974, musician Sly Stone wed actress Kathy Silva at Madison Square Garden. And similar to the speculation that Swift and Kelce will have a star-studded list of performers at their nuptials, the Sly and the Family Stone frontman held a concert on his wedding day.
"We had twenty thousand guests at least, with some of the estimates as high as twenty-five," Stone, who passed away in 2025, wrote in his 2023 memoir Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin), per an excerpt shared by Rolling Stone. "Years later I saw a picture of a ticket someone kept: $8.50 for a wedding and a concert both. A bargain."
And in 1982, the Unification Church held a mass wedding for 2,075 couples at MSG.
