Real Housewives of Rhode Island fans didn't see this cast shakeup coming.

Hot off the Bravo reality series' debut season, Liz McGraw announced she will not be returning for season two.

"I am full of gratitude for the amazing opportunity to appear on this show," the 56-year-old wrote on Instagram July 1. "As filming for season 2 begins, I have made the decision to take a step back and focus on my family, my work and my passions."

Liz shot down speculation that drama with her cast mates—which includes Alicia Carmody, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Ashley Iaconetti, Kelsey Swanson, Rosie DiMare and Rulla Pontarelli—was the reason for her unexpected departure.

"The RHORI cast is an amazing is an amazing group of women who have created something special," the businesswoman continued. "I'll be watching next season and rooting for the continued success of this franchise."

Liz concluded her message with, "For now, I look forward to enjoying this little corner of the world from the other side of the camera."

While many fans quickly flooded the comment section with sad responses mourning Liz's decision to exit, Bravo's Andy Cohen reacted with an invitation for the self-professed "Cannabis Queen" to return in the future.

"The door is always open," Andy replied on Instagram. "Just sayin’!"

Meanwhile, The Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Judge echoed many fans' sentiments by commenting, "You will be so missed. Hope to see you return one day!"

And while Liz's presence will definitely leave an Ocean State-sized whole in Bravoholics' hearts, she'll now have plenty of free time to enjoy her new role as a grandma.

Liz recently became a "Gigi" after her stepdaughter Brianna McGraw, whom she shares with husband Gerry McGraw, welcomed a baby girl. And, yes, she's "obsessed" with doting over her granddaughter.

"She is just pure love," Liz gushed on a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island After Show. "You feel that energy when she's in your arms. Gerry's addicted to it."

She added, "We pop in, we pop out, we bring gifts, [and] we spoil."
