Alibaba, Payment Firm Will Pay $600 Million to Resolve US Probe
Chinese tech giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd and its US digital payment processor agreed to pay $600 million to resolve a federal investigation of whether they failed to prevent the sale and importation of illegal pharmaceuticals and controlled substances, the Justice Department said.
