Frankie Muniz Shares Story Behind Hilary Duff's Agent Cody Banks Role
Frankie Muniz is racing into a new stage of life.
The Malcolm in the Middle actor shared that he and wife Paige Price—who share 5-year-old son Mauz Mosley Muniz—have made the choice to divorce after six years of marriage and a trial separation that they’d chosen to keep private.
“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents,” Muniz and Price wrote in a joint Instagram post July 1. “We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.”
And despite the decision to end their marriage, Muniz, 40, feels “endlessly grateful to Paige for everything she’s done for me and our family.”
“She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter,” he continued. “That foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere.”
The former child star added that he and Price, 33, would continue to build their company Muniz Racing and to “co-parent our boy with the same teamwork and love we’ve always had.”
In conclusion, he wrote, “We’re closing one chapter with gratitude and opening the next with bright futures ahead, for us as individuals and especially for our son. Thank you for the love and support.”

And proving there are truly no hard feelings, accompanying the message was a video of Muniz and Price dancing around to We the Kings’ song “Check Yes, Juliet.” Towards the end of their dance break they were joined by their son for a family dance party. As Muniz wrote atop the video, “Who says you can’t stay best friends with your baby momma?”
Muniz and Price met at a celebrity golf tournament in 2016 two years before the Agent Cody Banks star would propose during the Lantern Fest in Casa Grande, Ariz., in November 2018.
The two later eloped on Oct. 3, 2019 after climbing up Camelback Mountain in Arizona. As Muniz recalled in an Instagram post for their fourth wedding anniversary, “We were planning a big wedding for a future date, but then said screw it, I want to marry you tomorrow, let's do it... And we eloped.”

Muniz and Price celebrated their marriage with family and friends during a larger wedding celebration on Feb. 21, 2020, exactly four years to the day after they’d first met.
On the occasion of their fifth anniversary in October 2024, Price had written a heartfelt tribute to Muniz calling him her “favorite human on this big globe floating through a black canvas.”
“God gave us our cinema meet-cute, and the rest is a rollercoaster history,” she wrote on Instagram. “We have seen all sides to one another in our 8 years, and even in the face of what feels like a destructive moment, we prevail and we move forward with hope in one another. We are truly the best kind of team.”
