Police investigate death of teenage boy found outside Melbourne hospital

Police are investigating the death of a teenage boy found outside a medical centre in Melbourne's north last night.

The boy was located with serious injuries outside the Craigieburn Community Hospital about 7:50pm.

Emergency services workers attempted to treat the boy but he died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene outside the hospital and Homicide Squad detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the boy's death.
