Nara Smith Makes Surprising Career Move Alongside Demi Moore, Hudson Williams and More
Nara Blue Smith is certainly not lacking a support system.
After the influencer shared July 1 that her and Lucky Blue Smith’s 2-year-old daughter Whimsy Lou was diagnosed with cancer last year, she received a wave of support from numerous celebrities.
“God bless, so sorry you’re dealing with such heartbreaking news and journey,” supermodel Winnie Harlow wrote in the comments section of Nara’s Instagram announcement. “Praying for the healing and happiness of your beautiful family.”
The TikToker also received encouragement from Grammy winner RAYE, who commented, “My beautiful superwoman friend.”
Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor shared her condolences, writing, “I’m so so sorry,” while Project Runway host Heidi Klum noted to Nara, “Sending you strength and love.”
Plus, fellow influencer Emilie Kiser—whose 3-year-old son Trigg died last year after an accidental drowning—reached out with support.
“I’m so sorry Nara,” she wrote. “Sending you so much comfort and love, along with sweet Whimsy. You’re amazing and so strong.”
Former Disney Channel actor Skai Jackson and Bachelor Nation alum Jenn Tran each emphasized they are sending “prayers and love” to Nara and Lucky, who also share kids Rumble Honey, 5, Slim Easy, 3 and Fawnie, 11 months.
Earlier in the day, Nara—also step-mom to Lucky's 8-year-old son Gravity, whom he shares with ex Stormi Bree—explained that she and her husband learned of Whimsy’s diagnosis after visiting several doctors, who eventually informed them that her cancer “had spread” and she would need to begin chemo treatments.

Since then, the 24-year-old shared that navigating Whimsy’s health journey has been difficult.
“A lot of you have probably realized I’ve been posting a little bit less and this is the reason why,” Nara said in her video announcement. “Having found all of this out and navigating this while postpartum, also loving and caring for our other kids at home, also being in the hospital with Whimsy a lot and balancing work on top of that has been really challenging.”
She continued, “Some days are a little easier, some days are really hard and all I can do is try my best and show up in all those areas in the best way I can.”
Amid the tough time, Nara emphasized that she’s hopeful Whimsy’s health battle could provide some good.
“We wanted to share this to hopefully bring someone else that comfort—or even hopefully incentivize you to go check something out that you’ve been avoiding,” she added. “I hope that by sharing this I can bring someone a little bit of comfort and make you feel a little less alone on your journey—whatever that may be."
