Classes suspended in Manila due to INC rally

MANILA, Philippines — Classes in all levels, both public and private, are suspended on Thursday, July 2, Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso said.

In a Facebook live early Thursday, Domagoso said this is in line with the expected transfer of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) rally to Liwasang Bonifacio in the City of Manila.

Following the revocation of the group’s permit to continue its rally along Edsa, the INC earlier announced that it would move its assembly to Liwasang Bonifacio, a designated Freedom Park in Manila. /das
