MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District said it is prepared for the third day of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) rally at Liwasang Bonifacio and estimated the crowd to be between 10,000 to 15,000 on Thursday.
Acting Manila Police District Director PBGen. Arnold Santiago said the gathering has remained peaceful, with traffic continuing to flow and no spillover reported to other designated freedom parks.

“We still have three freedom parks if ever, we can suggest them to the organizers. Plaza Dilao, Plaza Moriones in Tondo, and Plaza Miranda,” Santiago told reporters in an interview.
According to Santiago, they have deployed a “substantial amount” of police personnel to secure the area.
He also reminded participants not to bring large bags and to maintain order throughout the event.
Meanwhile, residents from Batangas who have stayed at Liwasang Bonifacio since Tuesday are expected to pack up their tents to make way for the arriving INC rallyists, according to Santiago. /mr
