
MANILA, Philippines — Face-to-face classes in all public and private schools have been suspended in the Municipality of San Jose de Buenavista, Antique due to inclement weather conditions brought by the southwest monsoon, or habagat, enhanced by Tropical depression Henry, on Thursday, July 2.
In an advisory, preschools through senior high schools were placed under modular, online, or blended distance learning in the afternoon, upon the recommendation of the Department of Education.

A thunderstorm advisory in Cebu, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Negros Occidental, Guimaras, Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, and Antique was issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) early Thursday.
