Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid play best friends in 'Someone, Someday' teaser

ABS-CBN unveiled the official teaser of its upcoming TV series “Someone, Someday,” featuring lead stars Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid relying on each other as best friends.

The clip, released on Wednesday, July 1, begins with the actress donning a wedding veil while in a bridal car heading to a church. She looks out the window and sees Reid in a Barong Tagalong, gazing at her while on his motorcycle.

The teaser then gives a glimpse into Bernardo’s life as an older sister, a career woman, as well as a friend to Reid whom she cares for.

“She’s someone you love—the best ate, the best boss, the best friend, pero tao lang din siya,” the narrator says, before the clip cuts to Bernardo standing her ground and confronting those who seemingly wronged her.

Also featured in the teaser were Dimples Romana and Maja Salvador.

Other cast members who were previously announced were Rowell Santiago, Rita Avila, McCoy De Leon, Daniela Stranner, and Migs Casimiro.

The TV series, directed by Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu, is set to premiere on July 27 on ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live and TFC. /edv
