
A new Eurobarometer survey commissioned by the European Parliament has found that 94% of people in Malta believe the country has benefited from being a member of the European Union.
The survey also found that 75% of EU citizens view the European Union as a source of stability, while 73% believe the bloc should be given more resources to tackle global challenges.
Across the European Union, an average of 74% of respondents said their country has benefited from EU membership. Malta’s figure of 94% was well above the EU average.
The findings were shared by the European Parliament as part of its latest Eurobarometer survey on public attitudes towards the European Union.
