
BACOLOD CITY — Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man whose hogtied, wrapped body was discovered by farm workers in Barangay Pacol, Bago City in Negros Occidental on Thursday morning, July 2.
The workers discovered the remains in a field in Purok Langka shortly after 10 a.m. and immediately alerted authorities.
Lt. Col. James Latayon Jr., Bago City police chief, described the victim as being between 30 and 40 years old and about 5 feet 5 inches tall.

When found, his hands were tied and wrapped in cloth, a garbage bag and packing tape.
The man was wearing a white shirt and denim short pants. He also has a distinctive tattoo on his right arm that reads “Prince Gabriel.”
According to Latayon, investigators estimate that the body had been left in the area at least a day prior to its discovery.
An initial physical examination revealed no visible external wounds on the victim’s body.
Local police are currently working to establish the man’s identity and determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding his death. INQ /mr
