
Residential property prices in Malta continued to rise during the first quarter of the year, increasing by 6.7% compared with the same period last year.
According to new figures released by the National Statistics Office (NSO), the Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) stood at 104.19 during the first three months of the year.
Apartment prices recorded the biggest annual increase, rising by 6.9%, while maisonette prices were up by 5.3% over the same period.
On a quarterly basis, residential property prices also continued their upward trend, with the RPPI increasing by 1.8% compared with the final quarter of 2025.
The Residential Property Price Index tracks changes in the prices of residential properties sold in Malta, providing an indication of how the housing market is performing over time.
